About George Condax, M.D.
Dr. George Condax is an original founder of Retina Specialists of New York and has devoted his career to individualized care for retinal disease. His clinical experience spans diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, macular conditions, eye trauma, and inflammatory and infectious disorders of the retina.
A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Condax completed his ophthalmology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center and a retina fellowship at West Virginia University. His academic career has included faculty and teaching roles at West Virginia University, Jacobi Medical Center, New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Mount Sinai.
Dr. Condax is a member of professional ophthalmology and retina organizations. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, and their three children.
