Dr. Peter Condax founded Retina Specialists of New York in 2002 to provide individualized medical and surgical care for diseases of the retina, vitreous, and macula. His approach centers on careful evaluation, clear communication, and treatment plans tailored to each patient.

After graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Condax earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed ophthalmology residency training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center, followed by a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Condax has held academic and teaching appointments at several New York medical institutions and received a National Institutes of Health research award. He is board-certified in ophthalmology and speaks Greek, Spanish, and Italian.
